| Reviewer's comments |
"Still quite positive you could softlock using the first idol but the other thing was fixed and the current version was even expanded a bit. It's on topic and with the kind of customization you may not notice but you feel it's there and makes sense. This builder may have smaller moments but doesn't go meaningless." - DJ Full (23-Oct-2025) |

"In hindsight, maybe it wasn't the bast idea to play this level after the more comprehensive
Cambodian adventure, because this one was a little underwhelming by comparison. Taken on its
own however, it's a decent little TR1 jaunt. It's pleasingly constructed (although the
larger rooms were a bit bare looking), while the gameplay is on the simplistic side but fun
enough, with a brief switch puzzle being the only small stumbling block. I did
unintentionally manage to skip part of a trap room with a bit of unorthodox jumping, but I
had to exit the normal way so that wasn't too much of a big deal. I did like the detour for
the artifact where you drop into the lions (or rather, wolves) den though. Not bad, but
shame about the abrupt ending and the fact that not much was made of the storyline in the
diary." - Ryan (23-Oct-2025) |

"This is a Tomb Raider 1 Peru level. It looks fine and there are a couple of nice looking larger rooms, but portions of it still feel a little empty and it's not as detailed as Shadoofus' previous small releases. Outside of some inventory items and the look of the main character this mostly relies on vanilla assets too, although it makes good use of them and there's nothing bad looking.
This is another short level from the author and was apparently built in a couple of hours; this time it shows a bit, with it being quite short and having a relatively small amount of tasks compared to the last few releases, although it does still make some nice use of interlinking layouts a couple of times. There was also a puzzle I accidentally skipped with a pretty simple jump; in a bigger map I might overlook it, but when there's already few tasks it sticks out. The diversion for the secret does provide a bit more to the map, but there's no bonuses this time. I was also a little disappointed that the story the journal established wasn't followed up on at all and it just ends when you get out. Another decent release, although the limits this one was made under more clearly stick out. While they have some great releases I do hope the author tries something a bit more ambitious in size at some point." - Mman (22-Oct-2025) |
